You Can Join This BAM Performance By Sitting On 'The Beach'
BAM is searching for community members that can perform as "beachgoers" in a show that will transform the theater into a bustling beach.

BROOKLYN, NY — Calling all beach bums.
The Brooklyn Academy of Music is searching for members of the public who can join a performance this fall simply by participating in a favorite summer pastime — heading to the beach.
The "beachgoer" performers will make up the background for an opera known as "Sun & Sea" that will use 25 tons of sand to transform BAM's Fisher space into a beach.
