2 More Suffolk Gas Stations Robbed at Gunpoint

Four Suffolk businesses have now been robbed at gunpoint over the past five days.

Men armed with guns continue to terrorize Suffolk County businesses with two more gas stations robbed overnight.

According to Suffolk Police, two men entered the BP station located at 1099 Horseblock Road in Farmingville at about 9:50 p.m. Monday. The men displayed handguns and demanded cash from an employee at the counter. The employee complied and the men fled on foot.

At 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, police say three men entered the Shell station located at 560 Middle Country Road in St. James and demanded cash from an employee at the counter. One of the men displayed a gun. The employee complied and the men fled on foot.

There were no injuries reported in either robbery.

There have now been four gunpoint robberies in five days at Suffolk businesses. A clerk was injured during a robbery at a Medford store late Sunday night. And last Friday, two men with guns robbed a gas station in Medford.

No arrests have been made and police have not said if detectives believe the robberies are related.
