PATCHOGUE, NY — Suffolk Arson Squad detectives are investigating a fire that broke out on a balcony at an apartment on West Main Street in Patchogue on Wednesday, police said.

The apartment was unoccupied, so no one was injured, according to police.

The fire broke out just before 9 a.m., and the North Patchogue Fire Department responded, police said.
