  1. Driver Wanted For Hit-And-Run That Sent Car Into Animal Hospital. Suffolk police are looking for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run that sent a car into the front of an animal hospital in Selden. Officers say the incident happened just before 2 a.m. on the corner of Middle Country Road and Magnolia Place. They say a car hit the passenger side of an SUV and drove off after the crash. Police don't have a description of the vehicle, but they say it's expected to have damage. One person was sent to a hospital for minor injuries. (News 12 Bronx)
  2. Blue Point Man Charged In Fatal Crash. The man has been indicted by a Suffolk County grand jury following a crash last month in which he struck and killed a pedestrian in Holtsville while driving a stolen pickup, county prosecutors announced Friday. Robert Hengeveld, 50, was arraigned Friday on the indictment of aggravated vehicular homicide and several other charges. (Newsday)
  3. Peabo Bryson And More Coming To Patchogue Theatre. An "American Idol", a former Beach Boy and the boss of Men at Work are among the performers headed to the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts over the next few months. The theater announced a slate of new shows starting with Marky Ramone, the drummer for The Ramones and the group's only surviving member, who'll bring his show "My Life as a Ramone" to Patchogue on Feb 5. (Newsday)
