Here are the top stories in Patchogue today:

  1. Patchogue's Sandspit Marina Renovations Round Final Turn With New Restroom Building: After 40 years, the Sandspit Marina’s restrooms are long due for an upgrade. The Town of
Brookhaven demolished a four decade-old bathroom building at the Sandspit Marina in Patchogue on Thursday as part of an effort to renovate the area. In its wake will be a new restroom facility, which Town of Brookhaven Councilman Neil Foley said will take about four months to finish. (Greater Long Island)
  2. Patchogue 27th Annual Patchogue Christmas/Holiday Boat Parade: This year's theme is a Christmas Movie. See the decorated boats on Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Off-Key Tiki on River Avenue, 5-9 p.m. The 27th annual Christmas/Holiday parade on the beautiful Patchogue River starts at 6 p.m. Free public viewing is available at Sandspit Park (Davis Park Ferry Terminal) and FINS (Watch Hill terminal), as well as all the waterfront restaurants. (Patchogue Village)
  3. Off-Duty Suffolk Police Officer Dies In Selden Crash: Vincent Pelliccio, 30, of Ronkonkoma, was driving a 2021 Jeep northbound on Nicolls Road, near West Road, at 12:40 a.m. when his vehicle crashed, Suffolk police said. He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. (Newsday)
  4. Patchogue Whiskey Bar To Visit This Winter: Come visit the Whiskey Neat Bar and try the amazing selection of drinks for all tastes! Owners Rob Delgiorno and Michael Jordan have noticed a hospitality-industry crowd gathering at their Patchogue bar-restaurant, partly because it stays open late. Patchogue seemed like a natural fit for their idea of opening a Whiskey Bar, since Jordan was one of the first people to live in New Village, the mixed-use complex that opened seven years ago, when the town’s bar scene was heading into its heyday.
