EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A Bellport man was arrested after an East Patchogue flip-over crash that injured six people, including one seriously, Suffolk police said.

A man was driving a 1998 GMC box truck eastbound on Brookhaven Avenue when it was struck by a 2022 Dodge Charger traveling southbound on Americus Avenue and the impact of the crash caused the GMC to overturn, ejecting the man and his two passengers, including a child, from the truck, according to police.

The driver of the Dodge, Dayquan Rivera, and a passenger, bolted from the scene, while another passenger remained behind, police said.
