  1. Suffolk Police Officer Is In Medically Induced Coma: The Suffolk County police officer who was hit by an alleged drunk driver in Yaphank on Tuesday is now in a medically induced coma.
    Officer Tim Thrane is at Stony Brook Hospital surrounded by his family and fellow officers. The 35 year old suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain after, police say, William Peterson drove drunk and barreled into an accident scene. (News12)
  2. Patchogue Bowling Alley Closes Permanently: After 13 years of business and pandemic challenges, the Eggert family has made the difficult decision to close Bowl Long Island in Patchogue for good. The family-run bowling alley at 138 West Ave. had been closed since August 2020 after suffering roof damage and needing repairs. (Greater LI)
  3. Board of Trustees Meeting: Board of Trustees Meeting takes place on the second and fourth Monday of each month. In case of a Monday holiday the meeting will be held the following day. The meetings are at The Village Hall in Patchogue, at 6 p.m. (Patchogue Village)
  4. This Is The Season Of Giving: Patchogue Public Library needs your help! Help stock our shelves! Drop off non-perishable food and personal care items at any library service desk. Items are available to any and all in need, anytime the library is open. (Patchogue Library)
