The Blue Point Brewing Company’s Bastards and the Long Island Warriors will take the ice Sunday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. for the inaugural “Toast Your Hero” hockey game at the Northwell Health Ice Center at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Long Island Warriors and Project9line, two veterans associations aimed at acclimating former and active military service members with their communities through engaging activities.   2. Dress in your best, gather the entire family, and head down to Professional Care Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation of East Patchogue on Dec. 11.,to have your picture taken with Santa Claus! Join them for an afternoon of smiles and fundraising! All photos with Santa are only $10 and will be printed on-site! And the best part?   3. The French bulldog in the below report was later located in Shirley and reunited with its owner. For the second time in four days, a French bulldog has been swiped during a residential burglary on Long Island, according to Suffolk police. This time it happened in Bay Shore, police said, where sometime between Saturday, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 28, at 7 a.m., clothing, cash and a 3-month-old French bulldog puppy named Zushi went missing from a Farrington Avenue home.
