- The Better Man Distillery Co. in Patchogue to host the Rachel Quin Children's Foundation Cocktail Benefit and Silent Auction. Appetizers, cocktails, and entertainment for a good cause will honor the life and kindness legacy of Rachel Quin, a Hauppauge teacher. She passed away weeks before giving birth to her first daughter, but her memory is alive through her foundation that donates school supplies to children. (Patchogue CofC)
- Tuesdays in Patchogue are for Open Mic Nights! The free event is hosted by the Plaza Cinema and Media Arts Center every Tuesday at 6 p.m. Trendy bands and good choices for snacks, wine, and beer are a plus! The Plaza is located at 20 Terry St., Patchogue. (POSP Blue)
- Don't let your little dancers stay at home, bring their talents to the Patchogue-Medford Public Library for some Tango Fun! Miss Nicole will lead the little ones into the dancing floor on Tuesday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. (PMPL)
- Bicyclists in Patchogue now have a tune-up station at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library Carnegie Teen Center that can be used for free! The station was donated by Protecting the Environment in Patchogue and will provide the community a safe place to go whenever in need of a quick repair. (LIA)
- The New York Blood Center released an update about the decline in blood donations in the last two months. The shortage is still around even with blood drives in schools and community events slowly coming back. The director of the blood bank of Stony Brook Hospital, Linda Mamone, gave an interview for TBR News Media to provide updates on the situation. (tbrnewsmedia)
