UPDATE: The 72-year-old was found safe, police say.
PATCHOGUE, NY — A missing Patchogue man with dementia has been found, Suffolk police said Monday.
The 72-year-old was reported missing last week and a Silver Alert was issued.
Suffolk's Silver Alert is a program allowing law enforcement to share information with media outlets about people with special needs who have been reported missing.
