Edgemont Beats Pearl River Boys Lacrosse in Final Seconds

Edgemont defeated Pearl River, 12-11, Saturday.

Edgemont's Austin Doukas scored his sixth goal of the game with only 25 seconds remaining to give his team a 12-11 boys lacrosse victory over Pearl River Saturday.

Joe Mayernik had scored with 56 seconds left in the contest to tie the game for Pearl River (1-3). Peter Moreau contributed two goals and three assists and Kyle McDonald scored two goals and assisted on two more for the Pirates. Goalie John Beckerle made 10 saves.

Pearl River's next game is 4:15 p.m. Monday at home against Albertus Magnus.
