Hayes Leads Pearl River XC at Breen Invite

Junior Kelly Hayes took first overall in a school course record time of 19:38.2 to lead Pearl River to the girls team title at the 7th Annual Rob Breen Cross Country Invitational.

Pearl River junior Kelly Hayes broke the Pirates' course record with a time of 19:38.2, beating Samantha Stadt's old mark by seven seconds, to take first overall at the 7th Annual Rob Breen Cross Country Invitational at Clove Lake State Park in Staten Island.

Pearl River won the team competition with 41 points. St. John Villa of Staten Island was second with 62 points.
