Obituary: Philip A. Pape of Pearl River Dies at Age 62

Philip A. Pape passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Pape was born in Brooklyn on Oct. 16, 1950, to Charles and Jane Pape. Phil married Marion Lynch on June 23, 1979 at the Church of Saint Aedan in Pearl River, where he resided for the past 33 years.

Mr. Pape was retired from News America Corporation after 30 years of service as a Human Resource Manager. Mr. Pape will be remembered for his good spirited personality and laugh that could light up a room.

Mr. Pape is survived by his beloved wife, Marion, and two children Michael and Monica. Mr. Pape was preceded in death by his son, Brendan, and parents, Charles and Jane Pape. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Aedan's R.C. Church, Pearl River. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet. Visiting is today from 7 to 9 and Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc., 100 Franklin Ave., Pearl River.
