Orangetown Council Continues 2014 Budget Planning

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-part local dispatch.

1) The Orangetown Council will continue to discuss the 2014 budget at a workshop meeting beginning 8 a.m. Tuesday in Orangetown Town Hall. The meeting will include the last of the department budget presentations. Orangetown Supervisor Andy Stewart's tentative budget is due Sept. 24, though the budget adoption vote will take place in November. 2) The Rockland County Legislature meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 11 New Hempstead Road in New City.

3) Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid-60s and no rain.
