Pearl River Little League’s 9-10-year-old softball division won the Section 4 title Thursday by defeating Monroe Woodbury 11 to 6.
Quinn Maloney’s strong pitching was credited as one of the game’s winning factors. Aashly Barresi and Sophia Gerace had two hits each. Stefania Rinaldi also had a key base hit.
The defense was lead by Julia Killcommons and Alyssa Smith.
