The Pearl River girls lacrosse team lost at North Rockland, 10-5, in its season opener Tuesday.

Pearl River opened its girls lacrosse season with a 10-5 loss at North Rockland Tuesday.
Caitlyn Rau scored three goals and assisted on one and Kelly Dowd added two goals and an assist for North Rockland.
Maggie Davin scored two goals for Pearl River. Kayla Moreau, Courtney Ocasal and Tara Dulak also scored for the Pirates (0-1).

Pearl River will play its first home game 4:15 p.m. Thursday against Clarkstown South.
