Pearl River Lacrosse Teams Open Playoffs Wednesday

Both of Pearl River's lacrosse teams will open the Section 1 playoffs with preliminary round games Wednesday.

Section 1 set the playoff seedings and pairings Tuesday, though times for all games are not available yet. 

The No. 15 seed Pearl River boys (6-10) will play at home 5 p.m. Wednesday against No. 18 Dobbs Ferry in a Class C contest. The winner of that game travels to face No. 2 Pleasantville Thursday.

The Pearl River girls (4-12) got the No. 19 seed in Class C and will play at No. 14 Ardsley 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The winner of that contest goes on the road against No. 3 Irvington Thursday.
