Pearl River's Brian Cook Takes 2nd at Warwick Wave Mania XC Invite
Pearl River finished fourth in the team standings Saturday.

Brian Cook once again led the way for Pearl River, taking second place at the Warwick Wave Mania Cross Country Invitational Saturday in a time of 15:49, just one second behind overall winner Chris Hatler of Pope John XIII (NJ).
The Pirates finished fourth as a team in Division 2 despite the absense of No. 2 runner Ben McDermott, who was out sick. Brian Edsall took eighth overall in 16:43, followed by Brandon Ilie 21st, Kyle Smith 32nd, Domenic Fortino 37t, Sean Mahoney 42nd and Devin Boyko 45th for the Pirates.

The Pearl River boys cross country team placed fourth today at the Warwick Wave Mania Invitational. Running without second man Ben McDermott (out sick the last couple of days), other boys stepped up. Brian Cook led the way again, finishing second by one second in 15:49. Brian Edsall was 8th overall in 16:43.
