Pearl River Sports: Lacrosse Teams Honor Seniors Today

Pearl River's lacrosse teams will honor their seniors with a double-header of home games today.

The girls lacrosse senior recognition game is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. against Albertus Magnus with the boys game 5:15 p.m. against Nyack. Both are the final regular season games for each team.

The Section 1 seeding meetings for boys and girls lacrosse are scheduled for Tuesday.

Saturday

• Girls Lacrosse: -- Nyack held off the late rally to beat the Pirates in the Stacy Sennas McGowan Game, which was moved to Clarkstown North because MacCalman Field was unplayable. Courtney Ocasal scored three goals for Pearl River in the contest, which honors the memory of a victim of the Sept. 11, 2011 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
• Boys Lacrosse: -- Peter Moreau, Kyle McDonald and Peter Dolan each scored two goals and James Stephen had three assists for the Pirates. 

Friday

• Baseball: -- The Falcons rallied late for the victory at Pearl River.
