The Pearl River girls team ran their streak to seven consecutive section championships and the boys made it two in a row at Wednesday's Section 1 Class B meet at the Armory in New York City. The Pirates dominated the girls meet, racking up 127.83 points to second-place Harrison's 67. Junior Kelly Hayes won the 1500 Meter Run in 4:59.2 and the 3000 Run in 10:11.1. Meghan Keetley won the 1500 Race Walk in 7:32.8 with teammates Kristen McAdams second and Christina Haddican third. Kayla Clohessy took second in the long jump and fourth in the 55 hurdles for Pearl River.
