
The Pearl River girls volleyball team lost a close second game Saturday, eventually falling, 3-1, at Blind Brook.
Blind Brook took the first game, 25-14, but narrowly pulled out the second by a score of 29-27. Pearl River won the third, 25-11, before being closed out with a 25-19 loss in the fourth game.
Senior Victoria Grix racked up four kills, 20 assists and two aces for the Pirates. Senior middle hitter Annette Krysiewicz led the Pirates with nine kills and six blocks. Kayla Clohessy and Toni Glielmi each ahd six kills for Pearl River, which is now 2-4 on the season.

Pearl River's next match is 4 p.m. Monday at home against Tappan Zee.
