The Fifth Annual Troy/Diviny Golf Outing Fundraiser drew 132 players to Blue Hill Golf Course in Pearl River Aug. 22 despite the rainfall that day.
Orangetown Councilmen Denis Troy and Tom Diviny are both running for re-election this fall. Their event began with a luncheon at Emmett's Castle. Other political candidates in attendance included Republicans Walter Wettje, who is running for Orangetown Supervisor, and Rockland County Legislator Ed Day, a candidate for Rockland County Executive.
Mike Clohessy of Pearl River provided the highlight on the golf course with a hole in one.
