Rockland St. Patrick's Day Parade: What You Need to Know
The 51st Annual Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade begins 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Pearl River.
For all the planning that goes into the Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pearl River, the second-largest event of its kind is still at the mercy of the weather.
"We're in good shape," organizing committee co-chair William Lee said of preparations last week. "We're hoping for good weather. Good weather is always the key component of the day. Everything else is all ready to go."
The National Weather Service is calling for a partly sunny day with a high near 40 degrees Sunday in Pearl River when the 51st Annual Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade will leave Pfizer at 1:30 p.m. and wind its way down Middletown Road and Central Avenue.
