Sen. Carlucci, OASAS to Host Free Naxolone Training Sessions
Training will be held Wednesday, April 13 and Thursday, April 14 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

From the Office of Senator Carlucci:
Senator David Carlucci and the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) will host two free Naloxone training sessions, one in Ossining and another in Pearl River.
The heroin epidemic has destroyed lives across the Lower Hudson Valley. Naloxone, also known as Narcan, is an antidote that is given to individuals experiencing a heroin overdose which will temporarily revive them long enough to seek medical attention. Naloxone is an opioid antagonist, and this lifesaving antidote has revived thousands of people across New York in the last few years. At both training sessions, attendees will leave with their own Naloxone kit that is equipped with two doses of Naloxone.
