South Orangetown defeated Pearl River, 9-2, Monday in the District 18 Softball 11/12-year-old loser's bracket at South Orangetown.
Pearl River trailed, 3-2, before a half hour delay for lightning. Julia Sciortino drove in Maddie McGee and Camryn McGee with a two-run single in the third.
South Orangetown will play New City for the championship at home.
