Santa at the Palisades Center. From now to Dec. 24, guests to the mall in West Nyack can create lasting memories with Santa, preserving the holiday spirit in cherished photos. Santa Cares. 10:30-11:30 a.m. A sensory-friendly environment for children with special needs to enjoy their time with Santa at the Palisades Center.

Holiday Lights. Join the Nyack Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the season of family, friends and giving at 5 p.m. Dec. 3 at the gazebo on Main Street. Pet Party with Santa. on Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 5-7 p.m., pets are welcome to join in the holiday fun and pose for adorable photos with Santa at the Palisades Center.

32nd Annual Santa Claus 5K Run. It's not a Santa-specific event but it sure is fun. 10:30 a.m. in Veterans Memorial Park sponsored by the Orangetown Recreation Department. Pre-Registration fee $25 by noon Dec. 8. Race day registration $30 begins at 8:15 a.m. Each registrant will receive an official race winter hat.
