1 Person Injured In Peekskill Condo Fire
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
PEEKSKILL, NY — One person was injured, but no firefighters were hurts, during a massive condo complex fire Thursday morning in Peekskill.
Fire officials said the blaze began just before 2:30 a.m. in Building No. 3 of the Hillcrest Park Condominiums, News 12 reported, and at least 20 people lost their homes.
Extra tankers had to be brought in, stretching the more than 1,000 feet of hoses across the Bear Mountain State Parkway.

The fire was contained to the one building by nearly 100 firefighters, WABC TV reported.
The parkway had to be completely closed as firefighters worked on the blaze.

Fire officials told News 12 that the cause of the blaze has not been determined, but it doesn’t appear to be suspicious.
