Accident on Bear Mountain Parkway
Two vehicles traveling in opposite directions slammed into each other.

Around 12:07 p.m. Tuesday a two car accident held up traffic on the Bear Mountain Parkway, New York State Police report.
A Cortlandt Manor motorist heading east and a Phillipstown motorist heading west on the parkway hit each other. Both blamed the other one for crossing over the double yellow line and causing the accident. Due to the physical evidence at the secene and a lack of witnesses, it was unable to be determined which driver was telling the truth, NYSP said.
One driver was taken to the Hudson Valley Hospital Center for neck and back pain, according to police. No tickets were issued.
