All Hendrick Hudson Schools Are Open Nov. 1

UPDATED 9 a.m. Nov.1: Furnace Woods now has power and is open for school today.

From Hendrick Hudson School District:

As of 9 p.m. power has not been restored to Furnace Woods Elementary School. We anticipate that Furnace Woods will be closed on Tuesday, November 1.
If power is restored by 6 a.m. the school will contact you via our messaging system before 7 a.m.

Please assume that FWS will be closed tomorrow - please listen for updates.

Con Ed has a priority to restore power at the school but can give no definitive time for power restoration.
The High School, Frank G. Lindsey, Blue Mountain Middle School and BV schools will be open on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

Please anticipate some delays (5-10 minutes) in picking up students via bus transportation.
