Meet Oscar-winning filmmaker, author, activist Michael Moore on Monday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 230 Main St. in White Plains. he will be signing copies of his newest book “Here Comes Trouble: Stories From My Life,” which recalls his unusual encounters with presidents, politicians, media figures, business moguls and white supremacist racists.

Those attending must line up at 6 p.m., and purchase the book at Barnes & Noble (original receipt must be presented, one purchase per family or group, two person max).

3.    Peekskill Common Council and Committee of the Whole
The Committee of the Whole meeting is at 6:30 p.m. and the Common Council meeting is at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall.

4.    Cortlandt Town Board Work Session
At 7 p.m. tha Cortlandt Town Board will have a work session in Town Hall.

5. More Sun

The beautiful fall weather we saw over the weekend is expected to continue through the begining of the week, accroding to the National Weather Service.

Expect sunny skies, with a high near 64 today, Tuesday and Wednesday. Clouds are expected to move in Wednesday night and Thursday is reported to be cloudy, with highs in the 50s.
