Cops: Report of Man Smashing Windows with Bat Leads to Arrest

A 22-year-old Peekskill man is facing felony criminal mischief charges in connection with four damaged vehicles, officials say.

Peekskill Police Officers Edward Lemp and Michael Agovino arrested William Bobolia at about 10:10 p.m. Sunday. They were responding to the area of Highland and Pemart Avenues for a report of a man breaking vehicle windows with a baseball bat, authorities said in a statement.

Witnesses reportedly provided police with information leading to Bobolia's arrest. Police say he was in possession of a baseball bat.

Officials held Bobolia for arraignment. He will be due in court at a later date.
