A 30-year-old Cortlandt man, who owns a tanning salon in Mohegan Lake, is facing multiple felony charges for selling cocaine from his home and business, state police said on Friday.
After a six-month long investigation, Antonio Sabater was arrested on June 27. Members of the New York State Police at Cortlandt and the Westchester County District Attorney's Office (Narcotics Initiative) executed search warrants Thursday.
State troopers said Sabater was selling drugs from his Cortlandt home at 32 Durrin Drive and from his business Tropical Fantasy Tanning Salon, located at 1887 East Main Street in Mohegan Lake.
"This investigation revealed that Sabater was a significant cocaine distributer in the Northern Westchester area, dealing from his home, business, and vehicle," state police said in a statement.
Sabater was charged with multiple counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, all felonies.
Charges were filed in both the town of Cortlandt and the town of Yorktown.
Sabater was arraigned in Cortlandt Town Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail, pending a future court appearance.
