Cortlandt Extends Deadline For 'Budding Artists' Exhibition

All Cortlandt students in up to 12th grade during in the 2022-23 school year are welcome to submit up to three works for consideration.

CORTLANDT, NY — The town of Cortlandt has extended the deadline for “budding artists” to apply to be included in next Cortlandt Town Hall art exhibition.

The new deadline is Saturday, Jan. 7, according to town officials.

Titled “Budding Artists,” the exhibition will focus on the following themes: springtime, awakening, renewal and the natural world.

All current town of Cortlandt students in kindergarten to 12th grade during in the 2022-23 school year are welcome to submit up to three works for consideration.

Eligible mediums are painting, photography, works on paper and textiles.

The submission form can be found here, and the exhibition will run from Feb. 6 to May 4.
