Cortlandt, Peekskill To Mark Sept. 11 With Ceremonies
There will be many memorial services around the Hudson Valley honoring those lost in the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

PEEKSKILL-CORTLANDT, NY — There will be many memorial services around the Hudson Valley honoring those lost in the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Here are a few of the ceremonies that have been announced.
The village of Buchanan, town of Cortlandt and village of Croton-on-Hudson will honor the family, friends and neighbors who were lost on 9/11. The ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. Monday at the “Reaching Through the Shadow” Memorial at Corton Landing Park in Croton-on-Hudson. There will be a shuttle van from the village of Croton in the parking area to transport those who need assistance.
The City of Peekskill Fire Department will hold its 9/11 Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Peekskill Riverfront Park.

Westchester County’s September 11th Memorial Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. RSVP is encouraged.
