Cortlandt Taking Orders For Military Banners
When the banners are taken down, they are given as a keepsake to the sponsoring family or business.
CORTLANDT, NY — The town of Cortlandt is now taking orders for the 2023 Military Tribute Banner season.
The program, which is in its third year, is a tribute to honor and thank all the brave men and women who have defended the country and fought for freedom in America.
Banners, which can be ordered through this link, will be displayed in three locations: Route 9A near the VA Hospital in Montrose, along Oregon Road (Locust Avenue to Hollow Brook Golf Club) in the northern part of Cortlandt and on Broadway in Verplanck.

The banners will be on display from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.
After the period ends, the banners are taken down and given to the family or business sponsoring them as a keepsake.

The deadline for placing an order for 2023 is April 30.
