Cortlandt to Contribute $15,000 to BCC 9/11 Memorial; Italian-American Idol; Congrats Ashley Offenbacher

1. Cortlandt Approves 9/11 BCC Memorial Donation
Three of five Cortlandt Town Board members approved the inter municipality agreement with the Villages of Buchanan and Croton, which states that Cortlandt will contribute $15,000 towards the 9/11 BCC Remembrance Project.
Council members Frank Farrell and John Sloan, and Supervisor Linda Puglisi voted in favor of the IMA. Councilman Richard Becker was absent and Councilwoman Ann Lindau voted against the IMA because she “could not justify spending tax payer money for this project at this point in time,” Lindau said.

3. Ashley Offenbacher Makes Provost’s List at SUNY Oneonta
Cortlandt Manor’s Ashley Offenbacher achieved a perfect grad point average of 4.0 during spring 2012 semester, landing her on the Provost’s list alonst with only 124 of the 5,800 students at Oneonta, according to ReadMedia. Congrats Ashley!
