A 55-year-old Hopewell Junction man who was traveling on Route 9 this weekend is facing a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving, according to police.
State troopers from the Cortlandt barracks arrested the man at about 6 p.m. Saturday.
In addition to the DWI charge, police also charged the defendant with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor, and two infractions: moving from a lane unsafely and a seat belt violation.
Authorities released the man pending a future appearance in court.
