How To Cool Off In Peekskill, Cortlandt As Temperatures Soar
The weather forecast is calling for heat index values between 95º F and 104º F this week.
PEEKSKILL/CORTLANDT, NY — With heat index values between 95º F and 104º F this week in Westchester County, there are several places to help cool off in Peekskill and Cortlandt.
Cortlandt:
Those without air conditioning are urged to visit the town's cooling center at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center, located at 29 Westbrook Drive. It will operate as a cooling center on June 18, June 20, and June 21. The hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
