Division III Swimming Champs Honored by City Officials

The swim team was honored at the Oct. 24 Common Council meeting.

The co-ed Division III Swimming team was honored at City Hall Monday night for winning the championship for the 2011 season.

The team has been in existence for 57 years and consists of kids from age 4 to 18 who swim competitively according to age group.

Coaches Dana Dapson and Sara Lowe praised their team for hard work, enthusiasm and thanked dedicated families and parents the crowd at Monday’s meeting.
