Entergy and Boomerang.org Team Up to Raise Money for Friends of Westchester Parks
At the Yorktown Festival Sunday, a cool t-shirt technology allows the wearer to scan the shirt with a cell phone and prompt Entergy to donate $10 to Friends of Westchester Parks.

Indian Point Energy Center and Bommerang.org will team up to raise money for Friends of Westchester Parks this weekend for the second time this season.
They will be distributing free Boomerang apparel to visiters at the Yorktown Festival and Street Fair this Sunday, Oct. 9. The t-shirts have technology that tie the cause on the shirt to a unique tag on the item. When those tags are scanned by ordinary cell phones, it triggers Entergy to make a $10 contribution to Friends of Westchester County Parks.
Visit the Boomerang.org booth on Oct. 9 and win a t-shirt. Then visit Entergy’s booth and have it scanned. Each shirt scanned equals a $10 contribution by Entergy to Friends of Westchester County Parks, up to $20,000.
