Peekskill Democrats Host Voter Registration Drive

The Peekskill Democratic City Committee will join forces with volunteers from the campaigns of Nita Lowey for Congress,Justin Wagner for State Senate and Sandy Galef for State Assembly.

"In 2008 the Peekskill Democrats registered over 1800 new voters. That was an amazing achievement", said Marina Ciotti, Chairwoman of the Peekskill Democrats. We are reaching out to register as many new voters as we can in 2012.  Helping fellow citizens vote is the most patriotic thing we can do as Americans".   

On Saturday September 29th, teams of volunteers will disperse through Peekskill's neighborhoods; knocking on the doors of unregistered residents and offering assistance with voter registration to anyone who wishes to vote in the November election. There will also be registration stations throughout the City.     

Shift Times: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM  & 2:00PM - 4:00PM
