3. Summer Series Kicks Off with Marlo the Magician

The City of Peekskill summer series for children starts today with a magician. Visit the Riverfront Green at 7  p.m. to catch the show.

4. Fourth of July Parade

The City of Peekskill is throwing a July 4 parade at 10 a.m. Wednesday. It will start on Sherman Ave., come down Washington Street, down South Street, up Union Ave. and into Depew Park, Mayor Mary Foster said at the June 25 Council meeting.

Enjoy a summer concert at 7 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. on the Riverfront green on July 4 as well.
