Cortlandt folks looking to save money by making their homes more energy efficient may want to stop by the Hendrick Hudson Library.
"Hendrick Hudson is now equipped to support local homeowners in saving energy dollars by creating safer, more comfortable and energy efficient homes," a press release on the town's website states. "Cortlandt residents can stop in to the library for information on home energy assessments, and support with filing out online applications to get a free or subsidized comprehensive home energy assessment through NYSERDA [The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority]."
Assistance will be available at the library from 9 a.m. to noon each fourth Friday of the month. Appointments are recommended.
