Indian Point Hearings Set by Atomic Safety & Licensing Board
The Atomic Safety and Licensing Board has issued a notice for evidentiary hearings on Indian Point.

From the Nuclear Regulatory Commission:
The three-judge Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (ASLB) panel handling the nuclear phearing has issued a notice on the upcoming evidentiary hearing.
The panel puts the current number contentions at 10, which is based on the consolidation of certain contentions and the dismissal (summary disposition) of two of them. The total can still change if any of the parties submit new contentions based on upcoming NRC staff filings. Along those lines, the ASLB panel notes that the NRC staff plans to issue a second supplemental (SER) for the application in August and a second draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in July, with a final version to follow.
