13-Year-Old Charged In Robbery Of Taxi Driver, In Which Bystander Stabbed: Police
Two other suspects in the violent robbery remain at large, according to the Spring Valley Police Department.
SPRING VALLEY, NY — A 13-year-old has been arrested in connection to a knifepoint robbery that left a bystander injured.
On Sunday, around 7 p.m., the Spring Valley Police Department responded to the Spring Valley Memorial Park for a reported stabbing.
Officers arriving at the scene learned a taxi driver who had picked up three males was attacked by the passengers.

A knife was brandished by one of the three during the attack, according to the cabbie. The three assailants then stole the driver's phone, and a large sum of cash.
One of the suspects injured a good Samaritan who attempted to intervene, slashing him with the knife, according to police.

Investigators arrested a 13-year-old Spring Valley resident, who is charged with first-degree robbery.
Two other suspects are still being sought.
