Kathy Lynn O’Hara, 77, of Milford, CT and Peekskill, NY, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 5, 1948, in Peekskill, NY, Kathy was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma Polhill and the beloved wife of Frank O’Hara for nearly 59 years.
Kathy’s greatest joy was her family. She poured her love into caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren, and she found her happiest moments when surrounded by them. A devoted daughter as well, as she lovingly cared for her parents during their final years.
Known for her remarkable baking, Kathy’s Christmas cookie tradition became legendary—sometimes making over 120 dozen cookies to share with family and friends. Cooking and baking were her love languages, and every meal or treat she prepared was her way of bringing people together.
