Lakeland Central School District Proposes Budget Increase

The budget-to-budget increase is 0.96 percent.

PEEKSKILL-CORTLANDT, NY—The proposed 2017-18 budget for the Lakeland School District includes an increase of 0.96 percent over current spending.

Total proposed spending for the school year is $162,716,765. The district-wide tax levy increase is 0.75 percent under the New York State Tax Cap Limit of 2.63.

The school district will hold an informational hearing on the proposed budget on May 3. The vote on the budget will be held on May 16.
