Letter to the Editor: In Support of Joe Carvin
County Legislator David Gelfarb supports Carvin.

Dear Editor,
I write to urge my fellow Republicans to vote in upcoming GOP primary on June 26th for my friend Joe Carvin as our candidate for Congress in the newly-drawn 17th Congressional District. Joe has served with great distinction as our Town Supervisor since January 2008, lowering taxes year after year, bringing a sense of honor and dignity to office and providing essential services while reducing spending during his term. Joe also has vast private sector experience in the commercial banking and hedge fund industries, which will be very useful in serving as a Congressman during an era of huge budget deficits. He has governed in a non-partisan fashion, looking for common sense solutions instead of partisan wrangling. Joe has established two successful charities, One World United and Virtuous and Building Community Bridges, both of which have done great work in bringing diverse groups of people together to work toward community betterment. Lastly, Joe has lived and worked all over the world and is fluent in five languages, which will enable him to bring a real understanding of the economic challenges our nation faces in this era of globalization. I can think of nobody more qualified to serve as our Congressperson and strongly urge you to support him on June 26th.
Very truly yours,
