A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas R. Bertoline will take place at Church of the Assumption in Peekskill Thursday morning.
Bertoline, a Cortlandt Manor resident, died at home Monday (Aug. 19) at the age of 58, according to his obituary. He died after a battle with cancer.
He was the longtime vice president of sales at Peekskill-based D. Bertoline and Sons, a decades-old distributor of beer, liquor and wine.
Posted by the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill, the obituary notes that Bertoline is survived by his wife, five children, two grandchildren and various other relatives.
Bertoline loved to run. In addition to being known for his role in the family business, he was often spotted in the community as an official at youth sporting events.
The Mass begins at 10 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 22). The church is located at 131 Union Ave in Peekskill.
