You won’t find too many “all you can eat” buffets like this one. On Saturday, October 1st, thewill host their third annual “Men Who Cook” event, where, for $20.00 (less for seniors and children), folks can eat all they want with over 60 dishes to choose from including some of the best desserts to be found in Westchester County.

Peekskill is one of the most ethnically diverse communities in Westchester, and this diversity will surely give diners at Men Who Cook a wide variety of savory ethnic dishes to choose from.

Men Who Cook is one of several Peekskill programs that highlight the positive role Peekskill men, both young and old, play in our community and society today.

Men who Read is another such event. That event is sponsored by Peekskill Reads, a community based organization, and is designed to break down some of the social barriers connected to reading and show children that it is 'cool' to read. At this event young men read to children and also distribute free books and refreshments.

“In these trying economic times where government grants for youth programs have dwindled, Men who Cook is a way for us to raise money and help keep some of our youth programs running, so I urge the community to come out and support it,” said Valerie Swan, Director of the Peekskill Youth Bureau.

And if you weren’t already getting enough bang for your buck, there will be live music to enhance your dining experience even further.
